These Co-Processors are equipped with an Intel 80960C-Series microprocessor and includes 1 MB of instruction DRAM along with 4 to 16 MB of 80960 packet DRAM. Communication specific support is accomplished by the attachment of an application interface board (AIB). Additionally these Co-Processors provide a powerful and flexible communication interface for MCA or PCI bus based applications requiring a high-speed synchronous connections.
