LIMITATIONS: The following limitations apply: 1. When configuring a PS/2 with ActionMedia II, it may be necessary to limit the utilization of system expansion slots to avoid the possibility of overloading the 12 volt power supplies. If ActionMedia II is being installed with the Capture Option, then it is necessary to have a minimum of: a. Either one empty expansion slot, or b. One expansion slot occupied by an option card not requiring +12 and/or -12 volt power. As a guide, it may be assumed that option cards providing networking or communications support are likely to require 12 volt power. 2. A 386SX or 386DX system running at 16MHz or 20MHz (running under Media Control Interface for Windows 3.1, or running Audio Video Kernel 1.1 under Windows 3.1 and DOS) is recommended as a playback platform only. Performance on these machines is highly dependent on the specific application. End users should confirm with the application developer that the expected performance/quality of the application program will be provided on their specific system platform.
